The National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) brings together organizations throughout the United States that are committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Funded primarily by the National Science Foundation, the NGCP is a robust national network of Collaboratives serving 40 states, facilitating collaboration between more than 22,800 organizations who serve 16.35 million girls and 8.5 million boys. The NGCP strengthens the capacity of STEM programs by facilitating collaboration among organizations both in-person and online, sharing exemplary practice research and program models, and by providing mini-grant funding to collaborative STEM-focused projects.
